Better by Design: Strategies to Avoid Field Issues

When did you last consider why you design trusses the way you do? When there are multiple ways of designing a truss to avoid a field issue, what makes you choose one option over another?

Join BCMC presenters Dan Morris and Kelly LaBlance for a deep-dive design session into a variety of common design options as well as issues that frequently lead to repairs. They’ll discuss how you can avoid these issues with proactive design strategies and invite you to share your thoughts on the pros and cons of various design approaches.

This session is intended specifically for designers and design managers. Come ready to share your stories of how you tackled a design challenge and what led you in a specific direction when there were multiple ways to solve an issue.
