Following lunch, Joe Hikel, President/CEO/Owner of Shelter Systems in Westminster, Maryland will present metrics to help component manufacturers (CMs) predict profitability. The focus of this presentation will be to provide a detailed evaluation of truss business operational costs and benchmarks by department. Joe is a 42-year industry veteran and his deep knowledge of this topic guarantees that this interactive session will be a great learning experience.
We also would be pleased to have you participate in the SBCA Open Quarterly Meeting (OQM) February 27-28. OQMs provide a unique chance to learn from CMs across the country. Our goal is to gain the benefit of perspectives from all CMs who attend, so that SBCA is working on projects that make a positive contribution to our industry and your business. Through our committee and Board meetings, as well as the time outside of the meetings, you will get fresh points of view on industry trends and issues, build relationships with other CMs, and discuss your business with others that can empathize. The exchange of ideas is an excellent time to deepen our knowledge and friendships.
