Please join us for the Truss Manufacturers Association of Texas (TMAT) educational training on Building a Lean Culture of Engagement.

This session will focus on getting the full value of LEAN through building an Engaged and Empowered Workforce.

  • Map a journey from your current state to the future LEAN state you hope to achieve.
  • Address the obstacles that must be overcome to enjoy a truly LEAN Culture.
  • Outline the many benefits you should expect to realize through full LEAN implementation.

Presenters:

Jeff Tweten
As the Managing Member of WorkSafeWorkSmart.com, LLC and the co-founder of Lumber Buddy, Inc., Jeff focuses on providing Safety and Productivity Solutions for the LBM Industry.  Jeff has visited over 1800 lumberyards across the US and Canada in the past 18 years. He has become a champion for Lean Process improvement and encourages the “2 Second Lean” approach to building a lean culture of engagement in organizations. He has given out hundreds of copies of the book 2 Second Lean by Paul Akers in hopes of planting the seed of positive change within the LBM industry. 

Victor Sanchez 
Victor has held positions of Sr Quality Assurance Manager, Plant manager and Director of Lean with Trussway Manufacturing. His boots on the ground approach take Lean Methodology to the front line where the impact starts. His background in manufacturing throughout the Caribbean, the US, Central and South America have given him a worldview on productivity. Victor applies his concepts as building blocks to create learning-based organizations that drive change in both culture and performance. He includes Health Care, Automotive, and Agricultural industries among those benefiting from his efforts. Victor has also received his Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification.
