The cost to attend is $60 includes lunch. Attendees will be emailed invoices after the event and cancellations received after June 14 may be charged.

Jarrod Penn, Timber Products Inspection, Inc.
Jarrod Penn is a Field Representative and Inspector for Timber Products, Inc. In this role Jarrod performs quality audits to ensure consistency and compliance with both truss assembly guidelines and lumber quality and grade standards. He also conducts training sessions and classes for clients. Jerrod holds a Forestry degree from Stephen F. Austin University . He has also worked as a Forestry Consultant in East Texas and Louisiana for private land owners. In addition to trusses and dimensional lumber Jerrod’s inspection resume includes; railroad ties, pressure treated lumber, telephone poles, fumigation and wood packaging material.

Ben Hershey, 4Ward Consulting Group
Prior to starting 4Ward Consulting Group, Ben had the opportunity to start two companies and two new divisions for other companies. He has had roles including President of a large national multi-location company, National Sales Manager, General Manager, and Divisional Manger of a large regional company. He has spent the majority of his career in the structural wood component industry working in companies ranging from supply to manufacturing/distribution. He has worked with numerous groups of investors from inside and outside the building industry to start new companies or to introduce new building products to the market. Ben’s leadership has included ownership in several different companies including companies he has started.
