Truss Assembler tasks include:
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review shop orders and layout required materials.
- Verify material dimensions for accuracy.
- Operate hand/power tools and machinery to assemble trusses and wall panels.
- Assemble trusses and wall panels to design specifications.
- Arrange and load completed trusses and wall panels for shipment.
- Operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment.
- Effectively communicate with other team members and supervisory staff.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

REQUIRED SKILLS
- Ability to use manual dexterity to work with hands and utilize various woodworking hand tools and power tools.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
- Proficient carpentry skills.
- Must be able to stoop, climb, lift, bend, push, and kneel.
- Must be able to work in dusty and/or noisy environments with variable temperatures.
- Communication with customers, peers, and management.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to successfully interact with all organization levels and the public.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Carpentry experience preferred.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Prior truss assembly experience preferred.
